OK tonight I have refitted the vRS badge, but I'm not sure wether it will be staying or not - was fixed on with a hot glue gun - so it may have to stay!!!

Here's a couple of pictures.....

The positioning was quite difficult, and it's a bit higher than it was.

I have colour coded the grilles as per Skodaw's piccies.

The general consensus from all is that it is a vast improvement. Even my dealer thinks so.

I did go about it slightly differently as I also bought the chrome surround, Skoda badge and also vRS badge, however I am currently vRS badgeless and was wondering how the hot glued badge was working out.

Now for the wheels next!

So far so good -- the badge has survived the recent hot weather intact!!

I must say that your grille looks fantastic!!!!

That colour is lovely.

So when I do buy my Octavia vRS mK2 in 5 years time I dont know what colour to go for now.

Nice one well done

Sarah

Mines being done this week, but different to Skodaws. Having chrome part painted black (Roo has done this on his OctyII, not vRS though), not sure what the overall effect is gonna be but will post piccy's for comments when it's done.

Gotta say mate, that looks pretty good

Wow now that is Smart!

Wow now that is Smart!

Got to say you're true to your name given the last post was May 2006

It's because I sent him the link as he asked about my colour coded grille.

Looks better in black

maybe with the whole grille being "colour coded", but from having the "blue experience" I know which I`d always have

The blue is a touch of class :D
