Hill Hold Assist and Interior mats / arm rest

Featured Replies

Hello all, I've recently picked up a 2019 Fabia Estate 110 tsi monte carlo in white.

It's dealership used but my first step up in cars.

1.

I've rang the dealership and they are adament you can't turn on HHA/Hill hold control retroactively without parts. However, this forum says otherwise. Can anyone help clarify or find a garage in West midlanfs/Staffordshire area who will do it? Bonus points if you know anyone who can apply paint protection film to the sills for me.

2.

Does anyone kniw where you can get some interior door, cup holder and other area mats? Can you pick up the rubber insert under the handbrake anywhere other than skoda? I'd like to protect the common areas from my keys etc.

3.

The arm rest. Mine hasn't got it fitted and the dealership quoted 280 for the part plus 200 fitted in labour. Seems a bit extreme. Is it really that hard to fit?

Any better place to buy one?

Thank you :3

Can’t comment exactly on hill hold but some users have reported an Obd tool such as Carista will allow you to switch it on. Failing that you want a garage that has Vw’s diagnostic tool called VCDS to enable it.

I’ve ordered the rubber mat for under the handbrake from skoda, they’ve had to get it from Czech Republic as out of stock in U.K. so is on back order. Part # is 6V0863301A 9B9

the genuine armrest is available from approx 150 From Horton skoda/the skoda shop and is easy to fit with 4 bolts.

Alternatively I have fitted the armster version which was £65 and very good quality.
Hope that helps, any further queries shout up
