Skoda yeti 2.0 TDI idles weird when warm (operating temperature).

Featured Replies

Dear Skoda-lovers,

My skoda yeti (my 2012) idles weird when it reaches operation temp. It looks like the idle RPM are to low or someting, because when i turn on A/C it idles fine. When driving i dont feel anything wrong.

Engine code: CFHF, 2.0 TDI (110bhp), 4x4.

any guesses?

Ps. i dont see the rpm-needle going up or down.

Leave the air con all the time then it only costs about 1mpg overall and will lead to less problems with AC seals drying out.

Thats true, but could it be due to bad timing, because i read something about bad timing (i changed the timingbelt a month ago)?

In that case, it would be a good idea to check the Torsion Values with VCDS.

What RPM is it idling at and with air-con on?

810/830 rmp idle and 890/900 with ac on

That sounds normal.

The seals dont dry out except in oldwivestaleleand.

The clutchless pump runs constantly and circulates the refrigerant even when the aircon is switched off.
