2018 Skoda Superb 2.0 TDI 150 - wet or dry clutch?

Featured Replies

Hi

Considering a year model 2018 Skoda Superb with the 2.0 TDI 150, front wheel drive. It has the 7 speed DSG, but I am not sure whether its the dry or wet clutch version. Difficult to find definitive information about it. I was hoping someone here might know and help me out?

Welcome to the forum.

All 2 litre TSI / TDI's are Wet clutch DSG / S-tronic from VW Group.

Only diesels with a 7 Speed Twin Dry Clutch DQ200 DSG are 1.2, 1.4 & 1.6 TDI's.

I thought all 7 speed DSG were dry clutch?

The older 6 speed DSG (fitted to anything up to early 2017) is a wet clutch.

I'm no expert but when I researched this a year or two back it appeared that dq200 has the dry clutch and has a torque limit of 250Nm, so anything with torque above that is a wet clutch.

Yep, which makes the 2.0 150 a Wet clutch 7 speed
