Hi folks, long time since I’ve been on, and picked up a lovely mk1 Estate 1.9tdi. 😍 I’ve got used to having the towbar on the Fab but there’s not one on the Octavia. However I do have access to a towbar from a mk2 Octy Estate. I don’t know the brand as there’s nothing on it, but can anyone say if it’ll fit the mk1?

If the various specialist sites are anything to go by the answer is no, but I can do a real-life comparison for you late next week once I get back home as I have a mk1 and a mk2 towbar in the garage.

I’ve got a mk2 sitting here with a towbar on it and wondered if it would swap over... 🤷🏼‍♀️
