I have a Skoda fabia -12 and will install a GSM module which is temperature controlled (works with dog).  When pre-programmed temperature is reached, the trunk opens completely from the ventilation position.  What I want to do now is to Connect the Windows so they go down completely as well, my idea is to connect somewhere at the remote control unit that controls every window but doesn't know where.  If I press and hold the open button on the remote control, all the windows go down and think that I should be able to use a 12v control via that function in some way.  Grateful for the reply and if the post is not okay I ask admin to remove it 😊

The remote control works via the BCM and the master door control module in the driver's door. Most of functionality is controlled via CANBUS rather than direct wiring so to achieve what you want to do I think you'll need a GSM module that can talk to the BCM via CANBUS. Otherwise you'll have to splice across either the door switches or the window motors, and I'm inclined to think that either of those options will play hell with the BCM.

why not just leave the windows down a bit anyway, if you fit wind deflectors all windows can be left down about 2 inches and the car is still pretty secure.

 

On the flip side, if you "need" something to vent for the dog, then sorry to say it was to hot to leave him in there anyway.

what I have done is fixed so the trunk opens up and two fans starts and I get an alarm so I can go to the car 😊👍
