Carbon Dash

Featured Replies

I have been toying with this idea for some time now as I have always thought that the interior (well the dash) needs more of a sporty look about it. I have looked into the previous search on the subject but there is no 'good' pictures of the end result.

I did see an Octy with a carbon trim on the heater/vents and thought it looked nice.

Any thoughts ?

The slope is getting steeper and steeper!!!

Personally, I find that aluminium trim looks good BUT wood or carbon fibre would not. ;)

Any pictures from anyone guys???

There is a carbon kit available on German Ebay here.

Unfortunately, the pics are of a wooden one, but might be worth asking the Seller if he has others

Edit - Not sure if the pics are Skoda ones, or just generic

On Ebay you can get real carbon fibre. and with a bit of skill and alot of patience ake the trims yourself.

It's on my list of to do things.

Theres a Company i've dealt with in the past who can make reall carbon fibre pieces to your specs and they were quit cheap.

I had a carbon look kit on the Audi it was 4.99 off ebay and i wan't impressed.

Its a big bubble plastic sticker ie its a picture of some carbon fibre under a bubble to give it depth.

The same kits are in halfrauds for 50 quid i'd have been flaming mad if i'd paid 50 quid for it.

im planning on makeing the fabia air vent slits out of brushed alluminium! over the summer i recon they would look really smart.... but aftermarket trim stick ons are pritty poor looking,.... expecially on the top row of buttons its hmmm not to my taste!
