Good evening. I have a Octavia mk3 greenline 1.6tdi ,its has the original 16" basic wheels on . I'm thinking of changing them to a more sporty looking wheels. I've looked around but can't seem to find very many original skoda wheels to fit. Any ideas where I can get some ? .

Both wheels will take the same 205/55R16 tyre size, which is suitable for the Skoda Octavia MK3 1.6TDI Greenline

It's easy to change the VW wheel centre covers to Skoda ones

I don't think you'll achieve a more sporty look without going bigger.

If you want subtle, take a look at 17" Zenith or 18" Golus wheels.

Otherwise you can always look at the 18" Gemini wheels although IMO on a non vRS car it may look a bit odd unless you just get them refurbished in plain silver.

17" Teron from the elegance look good without going over the top.

The Greenline has lowered sports suspension as standard. This is done to improve the car's aerodynamic drag and therefore improve it's fuel consumption.

The lower sidewalls of 17" and even more so 18" will make the ride harder.

195/65R15 tyres on 6Jx15 ET43 5/112 57.1 steel rims will fit the Greenline.

Notice the two different designs of 15" wheel trims.

195/65R15 are a common and low priced tyre size and very comfortable

Erm, the OP asked for more sporty wheels than the current 16" ones fitted.

I'm fairly sure 15" steel wheels with plastic wheel trims aren't going to fit into that category.

For the record, 18" wheels with the standard 225/40 tyres provides a perfectly comfortable ride, I can't see there being any issues with ride comfort until you go down to the 35 profile of 19".
