Wheel options with RS 7 seats

Featured Replies

Hello everyone, I’m asking if someone knows the reason of the block of the ignite wheels option (255/40r20) with the 7 seats configuration. Are there some technical specifications (weights?) that avoid that measures of tyres? So, the second question, do any of you with 7 seats Rs got some TUV approbations with different tyre sizes? For example (further the 255/40r20) even 21 rims with the 255/35r21 or 245/40r21? Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad English..

WLTP restrictions is what I've heard as to why the factory doesn't allow 7 seaters to get Ignite rims. If you're asking about TUV, better to ask in the German Kodiaq forums.

Thanks for your reply, good point, never thought about WLTP restrictions.. i was fearing about technical differences between 5 and 7 seats (weights, dimensions, etc)..

If it's "only" a WLTP matter, i think that maybe it could be bypassed with some TUV persmissions (NAD in Italy).
