What have they done to this superb?

Featured Replies

I know this is probably crazy but thinking of purchasing a second superb from a stolen-recovered auction. I’m hoping it will sell for around £5k due to the extend of damage. It’s a 280 with full service history and was last serviced in December

Seeking some advice to see whether anything else looks out of place in the engine bay and cabin? I found the following so far missing engine cover, lack of coolant and incorrect air take. I’m not able to work out what the fuzzy marks in the screen and interior trim are but I would guess some kind of finger print liquid.

so far the risk seems greater than the reward.

walk away!

The only thing I'm jealous of is the felt battery cover because my 272 came without this optional extra. Seriously what a wreck. Even a drug dealer wouldn't be seen dead in this heap of manure.:tongueout:

Run Forest, Run!

The greyish stuff on the interior etc is fingerprint powder.

And it is a pig of a job to clean it up.

Lack of coolant so may need an engine - walk

I would guess that car has also been tuned - highly likely given the aftermarket air intake.

Worth keeping an eye on this one although bear in mind that you may need a new engine...

You're looking at £18k+ for a standard 280 so this could be a bargain... But be careful!

It seems that when they build Skoda's these days there are a limited supply of them. Might get a carbon fibre cover to annoy those that have the felt cover.

You should be alright down there as this Friday it is forecast to be 33C in London. We are going to Cornwall in September so the weather will be nice then as well. You could have had a go in a really quick Superb as a bonus.

If you see a Black 272 hatch don't overtake it or I might get jealous.
