I have a 2016 Manual octavia scout can it be possible to disable the need to depress the clutch to start the engine im guessing this is just a mere safety thing.

I think you can disable the message but not the functionality 🙄

A garage I know had a car on the ramp for a geometry check, they pressed the ignition button while out of the car (through the window), the car was in reverse, and it started and drove out the garage and wrote the car off, and damaged three others parked outside.

What a good idea the clutch switch would've been if it hadn't been disabled.
