Book lock testing

Featured Replies

Hi all

Bought a new superb 2012 yesterday. Owner did say boot was intermittent and had repaired wiring previously. Got it all open today have noticed motor to pull boot in is not working.

Wiring has been repaired and i cant see anything wrong with it.

Its a saloon version, is there anyway to test the motor wiring. Its a 5pin plug.

I had a look at a few good youtube videos but mine with a slam still closes and i get indicators flash when locking and no sign on dash to say its open.

So from what i can see i just need to rule out wiring to motor. So does anyone know what i should be getting at a multimeter if im probing the wires at the motor.

Thanks
