Hi All,

 

I have just received a new Skoda Kodiaq 1.5 DSG and this whining sound is coming from generator and/or engine. There is a click at the end of the video and the noise stops. Any idea, is this normal? Only doing between 5 sec to 1 min, when ignition is on, but the engine is not running. After it stops.

That’s the high pressure fuel pump priming if I’m not mistaken 

So this is normal? My company car Octavia 1.4 TSI DSG (2018) does not do this.
