As per the title, really.

On an 02 plate vRS hatch (UK model) should it have a cigarette-lighter type power source in the boot.

My Golf mk4 had one and it was surprisingly handy, eg to leave something charging hidden for a few hours when the car was in a car park or similar.

No the hatch Octavias don't. The estate versions do, as does the Superb. Would have been really helpful if they did - not sure if they have had some sense and fitted to the Octavia II hatches.

didnt see one on the vRS II hatch in the dealers when i looked round it but i could be wrong.

you could always run an extension from the centre console to the boot...
