Reverse light wires

Featured Replies

Hi all, I'm installing an aftermarket rear view camera on my Superb. As source of power, i will use the reverse lights, but i have found 3 cables, instead of 2. I need to know wich one it's the positive, and wich one the negative. Thanks in advance.

Here a picture of the wires.

Brown always negative. Suspect grey/white is live. Get a multimeter to confirm.

Now, someone knows where i could find the wires inside the car? Because where the reverse lights are, it's almost impossible, since they are in the boot door. So i was looking behind the rear seats panel, where i thought, i would find the wires. Sadly, i couldn't find the grey/white wire, nor the blue/black wire. There is a brown wire, but i don't know if it's the same of the reverse lights.

In the pictures, the wiring behind the rear seats panel.
