Dog Guard Hooks hanging out

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone - new to Skoda and to this forum.

I recently purchased a 2016 Superb - I just noticed that the dog hook inserts in the back were hanging down (they aren't out, just down)

Anyone had this before and know how to fix?  Maybe I am in the wrong place?  If so, kindly redirect.

Thx a bunch

Are you talking about the shopping hooks in the boot? If so they simply twist round to the correct position. A photo would help what you are referring to so we can help further. Welcome to Briskoda BTW.

Hi Shy,

Thank you for responding.  I attached a pic - its where the dog net attaches to the roof.

Sorry for not understanding sure someone with this set up will give you an answer soon. @penguin17 has a dog guard in his Golf R estate not sure if they are similar.

Hi Shy ... no worries :).  I didn't know what to call the darn things when I started the post! 😃

Thank you for the connection and the welcome wagon.  Happy Sunday.

Hi All,

Just to have this info. on here - I fixed it by removing the cover for the screw and tightening the screw. Easy as that.  Don't know why they loosened

but all is good.
