vRS engine ticking noise

Featured Replies

Hello fellow Skoda fans.

Last week I finally managed to buy a beautiful black on black vRS.
However I did not hear this noise during the walk-around and test drive - might have been due to excitement.

Thus, I have a question to more experienced and techincally inclined users - are those coils arcing? Cam belt tensioner? The car also has LPG installed (I know, I know...), if that helps.

Best regards and have an awesome day!

Sounds like the purge valve on the charcoal canister to me.

Thanks for a quick reply.

And that is what it should sound like, for a short period, I presume?
No fault codes were thrown at me prior to filming the video.
