Passengers door not unlock from inside

Featured Replies

When ive locked my skoda rapid from the outside with remote keys and my partner and son were left inside while i went into argos store they needed to get out but could not and this was frightening for them as it could have been in a emergency. but i did not want to leave doors unlocked for their safety. please can anyone help me.

You need to press the key fob twice in quick succession to disable the deadlocks.

Only if they move. ;)

Seriously though, I don't know how to turn the internal monitoring off in the Rapid but as I've moved the topic to the main Rapid section, hopefully someone will be along shortly to assist.

There is a post on here from last week.

The switch is on the door pillar to disable the 'motion' sensor / alarm.

For use on ferries, transporters and with living / moving things in the car.
