My skoda octavia has beed sputtering and shaking for a while now, the engine oil light along side I think the glow plug light which flashes, been told I have a dirty fuel filter would this cause car to go into limp mode

Check the oil level because the oil light on this car warns of low level as well as low pressure. That might clear the oil light.

Been in for a oil service yesterday new  oil filter and a new fuel filter, drove 20 miles the  car started shaking with the glow plug light flashing every time then the glow plug warning and engine light came on together then car went into limpmode, stopped car and wated

for 5 mins started then it was OK then the same thing happened again. New plugs are ordered
