On my Yeti with the CYVB petrol 1.2 engine, this sensor on the air inlet trunking ( is it the MAF sensor? ) appears to have its plastic cover missing. Anyone with a CYVB engine on Yeti or other model able to comment, please? 

Not sure what a cover would do there?  What makes you think there's one missing?
