July 2017 FL SEL VCDS adaptations don’t work

Tail lights on with DRL 

1 - Module 09 - Electronic. Code (31347)
2 - Adaptation

3 - Select – Leuchte 23SL HLC10
4 - Sub – Lichtfunktion D 23

5 - Change value to Tagfahrlicht (Daytime Running Light)

6 - Set Dimmwert CD 23 to 127

7 - Select – Leuchte 24 HRA65

8 - Sub – Lichtfunktion C 24
9 - Change value to Tagfahrlicht (Daytime Running Light)

10 - Set Dimmwert CD 24 to 127

 

 

 

The above VCDS /OBD Eleven  setting should enable what is known as Scandinavian Running Lights where the rear lights are on with the front daytime running Light. I can't remember which device I used to alter the coding but it worked ok on my car.
