Has anybody had an economy remap?

 

I have a 1.6tdi 115bhp. Seen a few options online with power and economy gains. 

 

Would like to hear from anyone who's had it done. 

Did mine.  90bhp upped to 140 ish.  Incredible performance compared to what it was.  Economy slightly better than before too.  Ace remaps did mine for 390 ish. Maybe cheaper alternatives but v happy with it all the same.   50 to 55bhp increase makes the cost worth it but less so for you with 115.

I had my Superb 1.6tdi remapped to 148bhp (Can't remember the exact torque figure). The difference over standard was night and day. I didn't notice any improvement in economy - it didn't change at all from standard.

 

I'm now on my 3rd remapped car and I can say from experience that economy is not improved - just performance and driveability.

 

Perhaps if you did the exact same journey 5 days a week on the motorway you'd see a very slight improvement?
