Adding secondary user for Skoda Connect

Featured Replies

Hi, I just purchased a Skoda Superb IV Estate and have added myself as primary user with Skoda connect, giving me access to vehicle information from the Skoda Connect app and website. I've seen various references to the fact that you can add a secondary user who could also view the vehicle information from their app, but the only option I can find that links another user to the car is to make the other user the primary user, which then removes my access. Can anyone point me in the right direction for how to solve this? Or maybe I'm misunderstanding what should be possible?

Same problem here. My wife is the primary user and I'd like to be the secondary user but I haven't found a way to do that. On the activation screen it shows the message "To finish activation become the primary user" or something like that. If I follow that, I become the primary user and wifes profile is deleted. Can someone pls help?

Can I bump this up again as posts eloquently express my sheer frustration at what should be easy. Just got Sportline in September 2021. Skoda has gone down in my opinion - poor manuals, cheap cost cutting e.g. only 1 door umbrella. Little things which add up.

Is there any way to stop that stupid black welcome screen appearing every few minutes? It's driving me stone cracked!!

j caff, I am the same.  When I used to do 2 journeys a day it wasn't a problem, but now I start the car ten times a day it is irritating me. I thought switching off the 'personalisation' option in the sub-menu's would kill it, but t hasn't 😞
