New vrs owner

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, decided to buy an octavia vrs petrol after seeing it crop up for a reasonable price.

Few little issues I need help with already :(

Car is pulling left and right on acceleration and then lifting off would this be the bottom arms?

And the car pulls fine etc but just feels a bit bland and boring and I've just come from a 300bhp zafira.

Car just feels too smooth 😂

I've seen a backbox delete (hate that saying cringe)

Is there any thing else that can be done without going too crazy to get it to 270 290 ish? And sound a bit better

Just can't get over how a bus can feel better than a vrs and I've only had it for 6hrs.

Thanks

A decent remap will soon sort the extra bhp out

Superchips remap and a panel filter will take it just over 300, more than the FWD can properly handle even with a LSD. Or maybe I need better tyres and its just me. Still on the factory fit tyres and the tyre noise is the worst thing about this car, on a rough surface its loud.
