Wondering if anyone has managed to retro fit cruise control on a 2016 Octavia SE?

Seems there are two possible slip rings. One made by Kostal that does have a compatible cruise control part and one made by Valeo that does not have a compatible part.

Of course my car has the Valeo.

Has anyone replaced the Kostal slip ring to achieve this? Is that even possible???

 

Any help or guidance greatly appreciated.

yes, there is a post with all that but it is done by the dealer.
