No longer a Skoda owner

Featured Replies

After much deliberation, I have pulled the trigger and sold my 2017 VRS 184 to WBAC. Not a bad price given, all in all - especially as they failed to notice the two knee sized dents in the roof....

Its replacement is a Tesla Model 3. A very different beast....

Nice car I hope you have lots of enjoyment out of it. I was thinking of one of those but :

Hours of fun before every long journey then planning the journey to make sure you can get to your charging points- working in a hotel I see people with big Tesla's doing this regularly! Another issue I've noticed is getting tyres as a lot of tyre fitting companies don't keep the Tesla size tyres in stock- these two issues along with other annoying ones like only one charging point where I work so first come first served with the charger aargh - not for me. I would probably go for a hybrid next -did you know secretly the car manufacturers have invested heavily in this tech? also did you know there's also huge investment going on with hydrogen fuelling in Europe, Canada oh and here in the North East( we are a pilot for this tech as there are lots of chemical companies here and one has hydrogen as a byproduct of one of their processes so there is oodles of the stuff!) no not many people know about that as it's not on the news in the UK!! We are living in a very changeable time in our world's history a new vast technological change in automotive history- there's even a new one stroke engine - that's right it delivers power on every stroke and runs on all fuels.

Regards

Michael
