New front grille surround from SuperSkoda

Featured Replies

Asking the forum before SuperSkoda - Hoping someone out there can remember what their colour coded grille from Super Skoda looked like when they got it. Mine was very well packed and paint all looks good but there are a couple of parts of exposed plastic that look suspiciously like they had tabs or clips attached to them and have since snapped...there were no loose bits in the box so not broken in transit and you wouldn't see them once mounted. I just don't want to go to the trouble of potentially damaging the chrome one that I want to take off if this one won't fix securely.

I think those are just moulding tabs for ease of handling during manufacturing.

Don't worry about damaging the chrome, it's harder than you might think.

Ah ok thanks, that does make sense as they won't be seen.

Any tips for removing the current one?  The plastic pins look ripe for snapping to my eyes!

Thanks

Working around the grille, just lever them in the appropriate direction whilst applying outward pressure to slip the clip over and off the grille.
