Avon's

Featured Replies

Has anybody used Avon ZV7's, either on 16" or 17" rims. I'm interested in grip and noise?

Just had a set fitted to my Octavia a week ago.  205 55 16. Not done much mileage since but seem good grip and a bit smoother and quieter than the Goodyears that were on. £216 for 4 from Blackcircles.

You have a lucky size, nice price, for some reason they choose a rare size for the Rapid, and far more expensive ha ha 😂

Tyrereviews.co.uk for customer feedback and professional reviews.

Wheel-size.com for alternative sizes - might find a cheaper option.

Mines a 2017 SE Sport on 215/40/17's

Was thinking of going steel 16's for the winter on 215/45/16's which is a good match, but the 16's are rarer and more expensive

Not sure if to look at 15's?

Plenty good & reasonable priced 'all season'  all weather, winter time tyres available in 17" that do well in Winter.

Threads / reviews on most of them in the Tyre Section of BRISKODA Forum.

I've just had fitted a set of Kumho 16" PS71  to my Toledo so have a look at prices for those. Much much better than the Bridgestones they replaced.

Also have the same (earlier version) on my MX-5, been on 4 years and very impressed with them over around 15k miles.
