Milltek Non-Resonated Catback System

Featured Replies

Hi, all.

It's been a while.  I hope you are keeping well and safe.

I have recently done some minor modifications to my RS245 (painted door handles gloss black, OEM mudflaps, added the Superskoda Rear Spoiler).

I have also upgraded to a Milltek Non-Res Catback System.  So far, so good.  Very happy with it.  There is some drone in the low RPMs accelerating to 60 km/h (not as bad as I thought it would be).  Once the speed is steady, it's quieter than I expected.  It doesn't do much to the bhp. unless I couple it with an intake system and maybe a Stage 1 tune, perhaps?  The car feels a bit lighter, albeit.  I did not realize how heavy the stock system is.  For my purpose, the exhaust will suffice for now.

It does have a lovely burbling noise when you initially start it up. :)

Enjoy y'all.

Hey @JohnnyType2 !

Thank you for the kind words.  Yeah.  I will get to the suspension one day.  What would you recommend that won't be too low but low enough to improve handling and aesthetics?  Eibach Pro Kit?  I think the Sportline is too low.  Or I just save money to upgrade to a KW DDC Coilover down the road when the suspension needs an overhaul.

The exhaust sounds great. Stage 1 tune or even a JB4 will really wake it up :)
