Noticed that the underside of the engine cover was rubbing against a rubber hose and it had made quite a flat spot on it, and could possibly wear a hole in it eventually ?

Anyhow i  just decided to wrap 2 cable ties around hose to keep it away from the rubber.  May be a thing to check next time you look under the bonnet.

Might be worth replacing the engine cover's rubber bobbins.
