I own a 2018 Octavia with  halogen headlights, so I'm looking to upgrade them to led headlights and taillights. But, I have few questions to ask.

1) Does the conversion distorts the hood interior? I mean the wires and other conversion equipment.

2) What I need to convert both headlights and taillights? 

3) Does it need any software changes? or just replacing the lights?

This is a complex job.  The headlights generally need a whole new controller; but the taillights are generally achievable (they can be easily coded in).

 

With the headlights, you will need to ask the supplier what coding is needed to get the headlights to play nicely.  You will also need to code in that you are running different DRL's (Daylight Running Lights).

You will also need to have a BCM with the correct pin for LED lighting.

And the high end Gateway. I think the Low ones do not work with LED.
