It's usual for a .DMG to contain an 'application' that you just drag and drop into your applications folder. Few Mac applications have to run an installer.

The 'application' that you drag and drop is actually a directory, but this is hidden from you to simplify life.

Just a really important point nobody seems to have mentioned.

If customs see you with the thing you will have to pay Tax and Duty on it. If you declare this woudl wipe off a good chunk of the £200 and if you don't declare and they catch you then they will Tax & Duty you and give you a nice big fine for trying it on, which would more than wipe out the £200 saving.
