Oddly enough, since I bought mine last year I've been let out loads of times by other bmw drivers.

Whenever I drive a Bimmer I am the most courteous road user you will ever see. Feels good to right some of the wrongs.

who cares about speed and how fast the car is...being a skoda owner/driver will make me a better person...if being a BMW driver turns you into a selfish w**ker then id rather drive a slow skoda.

I bought my Octavia from a guy I work with. He replaced it with a 3 series BMW.

As you will see from how the thread is going Jonny, we now have a Fabia which will outdrag an M3 from a standing start (and the M3 was trying ). Didn't you know how fast the Fabia is?

any way I saw this guy today in a 5 series BMW and he was at some lights. the lights were clearly on red and he decided to not wait till they went amber or green but he thought as the other cars had stopped coming from the other direction it was his right to go when he wanted to.

bmw drivers are complete tits the majority of them are anyway! on the m5 this x5 decides to tail gate me on the outside lane while im doing about 90ish anyway and he still decides to push me, got to a empty bit of road and just taped the breaks seen him in my mirror nose went straight down and he steered to the left and then undertook me!!!...tbh i couldnt give a damn if he went off the road he tried to run me out of the way in the 1st place, flid!

I had a bad experience with a X5 once too. It was on a dark windy road in derbyshire... I was doing the limit which was 60mph (safe for the road and environment) and i saw this lights swiftly approaching behind me. Well they cuaght up with me and started flashing thier lights to say "get out of my way, D I C K extension coming through"

I was not happy at all. seconds later he decided he wasn't happy doing 60mph and overtook me on a blind bend:eek:

I saw him after the corner and he was flying must been atleast 100mph....he entered the 40mph zone shortly after doing a similar speed:thumbdwn: :eek: . what an idiot!!

no wonder BM drivers get a stereotype.

it's maybe be a case of a minority causing problems for the majority but I see it everyday on the way to work.

I bet it loses BMW a few customers...if only they didn't get this stereotype, BMW would sell 1000's more cars every year.

Interestingly I was talking to my office mate about this yesterday as his fiancee is from Germany (Bavaria I believe). Out there it's the Audi driver's who are all to$$ers and the BMW drivers who are all well behaved road users. Unfortunately, it means that he has to sell his Audi A3 as a result, but the jury is still out on what will replace it. Currently looking like a Jag S-type :eek:

I often wonder how many drivers get out of their cars with "road rage" and say "Swap yer". It is after all the drivers rather than the cars - now there's a revelation :hilarius:

One of the places I work for has an old ex-drift school M3. Utter nail, but it is bonkers rapid. Much faster than any VRS I've ever been in. There might be a few on here which might give it a run for it's money, but standard... I can't think so.
