Hello!

I'm getting a VRS Octavia in a week or 2 so I've decided to join a forum relevant to the car!

I had a good look the forum the other day and was pleased that the only real complaint about the car was water running into the boot when it's raining

I needed a reasonably priced 4 door car that was fairly quick, so I've decided on one of these.

Can't wait.

I went to see an Octavia VRS yesterday in Bradford...

Unfortunately it was rubbish, it had 10k more on the clock than they admitted in the advert, the interior was grubby and the battery was dead!

When they got it started sound sounded harsh too... :thumbdwn:

Hi new to the site I have just purchased a 2008 superb Laurin and klement edition in dark blue with cream leather 118000 with original wheels athou the wheels need full refurb i think they are diamond cut but maybe someone could correct me could anyone tell me how many were produced in mk1s and are they a rare car I would have preferred the 1.9 as apose to the 2.0 litre but it drives just a good and coud not find this edition in a 1.9 but I don't think they did a laurin klement in a 1.9 tdi but

Generally, i dont like to be one of those people to open up another topic that has been exhausted time and time again, but after extensive research, i really am struggling to find a forum response that matches fully with my issue. I wonder if someone can help me identify the correct OEM product number for a gearbox oil change I am planning. The car is 19 years old and just passed the 50k mile mark and I thought it would be prudent to change the oil when I service it this summer. The trouble I am having is getting any reliable information from online purveyors of oil. I would like to buy original VAG oil. Mine is a 5 speed manual gearbox.
