Windows rolls down by itself

Featured Replies

My car is Skoda fabia purchased in yr 2011.

All the 4  car windows completely rolled down during night. It happened two times with a gap of appx 1 month. Kindly guide how to rectify.

There is not enough information to start to make recommendations. Electric windows x 2 or x 4, manual windows x 2 or x4. Suspect someone is opening the door and doing this.

This has been reported many times in the past, but at that time I was typically finding this talked about on VW Passat B5 forums or similar aged VW Golf/Jetta, as I was never affected by this with any car, I can't say much more, but certainly it is not unheard of!

It's normally someone inadvertently pressing the unlock button in a prolonged manner.

Yes, I have had this happen many times on both my Octavias over the years, probably due to keeping the keys in trouser pockets. Has not happened again since I started keeping the keys in small Faraday pouches.

Dear all,

Whether you believe it or not, it is not due to any error from my sude. It is electronic x 4 windows. May be automatic activation of some sensors. Unfortunately, no skoda technical expert is available to get resolution. Anyway I will be taking the vehicle and show to some local expert.
