Spares or repair

Featured Replies

Anyone interested in a mk1 Octavia elegance estate on a 52 plate 2.0 petrol

96k. Mots up on Friday. High Wycombe area.

Otherwise it’s heading for the knackers yard which would be a shame.

There was a post on the forum recently looking for parts for a mk1.  If I can find it I'll link it.

(Later)

Also worth a word with @DeanVRS20VTwho is accumulating an archive of mk1 info.

Bit to far for me or I may have some parts off it.

I’d put on eBay and see what it goes for, got to be worth more than scrap value.

What tends to be worth selling parts wise Dean?

Usually the body panels, and interior. But as yours is a basic spec I doubt the interior would be anything. You’ve also got to bear in mind the space and time to strip the car yourself.

As I said, put the whole car up on eBay or one of the MK1 Octavia’s FB groups to see if it’s gets any interest.
