Depends on what you want. I have a ROON rock server for the home and this does all my zones (rooms) and plays local content and integrates with streaming services like Qobuz and Tidal. Worth exploring if you’re into your music at audiophile levels. Especially with their RAAT service.

Got an Edition 100 that I got on 94k a couple years back in the PD130 variant. Lovely spec and excellent on fuel despite being heavier. Don’t see many on the road now.

Please do. As you can buy an oem plug in kit by a 3rd party and get it installed. Also, double check the wiring isn’t hidden down the back of the dash.

Sorry very late with reply. Wiring to work the unit should be the same, but unless you have the tmc/gps and the maxidot display, it won't fuction correctly. Also, without the skoda amplifier in the boot/parcel shelf, it'll sound awful. I have this in my superb and in the MK1 Octavia, and in that it's terrible.

It's to stop water getting dripping down. So I would keep a look out for another part. I also used some vaseline on the part that clips in to make it easier to remove next time.

I found the issue is now trying to find replacement hoses. A lot now do the simplified setup to remove as much as possible. Unsure if this is feasable for yourself? https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/155472-how-to-remove-delete-sai-n249-and-n112/

Should be able to access with just removing the lower and middles parts.

These are standard size on the MK1 VAG 1.8T 150/180bhp range. It's in a box to stop heatsoak. But, you might as well get a decent filter to put in the original airbox.
