Skoda Octavia Combi, Mk III, 2015, passanger airbag signal light

Featured Replies

Greetings eveyrone!

I have a situation with passenger airbag signal light (on the dashboard) anf that is that it is on, after ignition, and stays on for ~1 minute and then it goes off.

Car info doesn't show any errors regarding passanger airbag.

I wonder if there is an option to turn this signal on/off so that it is accidentaly turned off or this might be some other thing?

Thank you all!

Mine has always done it, at least it has always done it from the time that I first noticed :D

I'm sure its supposed to be alerting me to something but it remains as incomprehensible as the safelock warning.

It's alerting you to the car checking the airbag safety system and then reporting all is well.

Its alerting you that the teapot is chocolate.

All the systems do a self check when turning on the ignition, thats why all the dash & mil lights illuminate for a second including the airbag light, it does not take 60 seconds to check the airbag & SRS systems, a car can be almost at V-max by then.
