My 2005 1.9TDI Octavia shakes on idle when it warm and only then. I suspect the slightly higher idle when cold masks the issue.

I have not tried anything yet, as the car runs just fine. 

There are no warning lights or error codes stored.

 

Could anyone point me in the right direction?

It could be several things, have it scanned first to see if it has picked up any codes and take it from there.

How bad is it?

 

Mine does it and I think they are all prone to it unlike other diesel engines that ran like a Swiss clock.
