When I used to run winter steel wheels I looked for decent aftermarket wheeltrims and they all looked cheap and nasty. I bit the bullet and bought genuine and expensive Skoda. I do not regret it.  You may find a friendly dealer on e-bay.

Local Skoda garage managed to fit original locking so tightly that when I tried to swap wheels over I could not get them off. I had to go elsewhere to get them removed.

I agree, bite the bullet and buy the genuine Skoda wheel trims - more expensive but well worth it for appearance, strength and quality.  

 

My winter wheels I bought from a Briskoda member, they have genuine Skoda wheeltrims which look as good as they could and are very robust, clip well into position and dont look like they have ever fallen off before.

 

Dont know what they cost but they are good.

They're called RIF wheel trims on the Yeti. And it looks like they're anything up to £100 for a set.

 

As has been said, most of the aftermarket ones look horrible. I did get a half decent looking set from a wholesaler - which ceased trading ages ago so I can't help you.

According to everything I've read about the correct plastic wheel trims for the Yeti  (or, at least the earlier Yetis ... not sure about later ones)   the wheel trims on the Czeckozlovakian site are different ... they're not RIFs.

 

And for me the oempc.com  site won't display as it's blocked by Malwarebytes.

Have to say I'm not taken with the look of the Rif.  But I'm not all that fussed with looks anyway: I tend to go for the cheapest ones that the missus thinks look more or less OK, since the local scrotes seem to have a bizarre habit of nicking wheel trims one at a time.  I'm currently running a set of black wheel trims that cost me less than £20.  These have two benefits for me: the scrotes don't seem so keen on black ones, and you can use ordinary black cable ties to stop them popping off of their own accord rather than having to source silver ones (otherwise it looks a bit naff - er, hang on, didn't I say that I wasn't that fussed about looks?)

You could always use stainless steel ties. Pretty well 100% scrote resistant ...

Having dechromed the grille with satin black I'm gradually doing other silver bits like the door mirrors my attention has now turned to the winter wheel trims, they look naff anyway so they are in line for a splash with the aerosol can, its a good way of seeing if black wheels suit the car or are too much.

 

I agree that the wheel trims on the Czech site look much better but there will be a lot of black painted steel showing through, not sure if they will look as good on the car.

I think I still have a set of Rif trims in the garage, just haven't got round to Ebaying them yet.

I'll check in a bit.
