Recommendations for Dash Cam Hardwire fuse

Featured Replies

Hi all,

What fuses have you been using to use as a jumper for your dash cams?

I've just picked up my 68 plate VRS and found both 12v plugs are "constantly live" so reluctant to use the fuse for those.

I need one that comes on with the ignition. Any recommendations?

As a side note, any way to easily change the 12v plugs to be ignition on off? Have a rear cam i wanted to plug i  to the boot but thats a no now :(

Thank you

I tend to use Fuse 47 for the Rear Windscreen Wiper.

I went for parking assist in the end :)

I got mine working with the rear wash wipe but had to take it straight back out. The interference with the dab signal was too much. It barely worked even with ferrite filters before and after the voltage reducer.
