Featured Replies

hi all

I have a 2016 Superb 2.0 disel and the acceleration pedal is very slugs on it our not very responsive some times it kicks in and some times it fells like it is dead

I was trying to search for this problem with out any luck so any help on this :)

I have VCDS from ross tech but no fault code on the car

kind regards

Bo

If you have different 'driving modes' on that car then that will alter how responsive the pedal is but you could also think about adding a 'pedal box' as that would help in all modes.

I’ve done this mod on my Kodiaq and it did make a difference to the throttle response.

Direct Acceleration - Throttle response]
With this mod, you can change the behavior of the accelerator. Option B provides a more linear acceleration without sudden deliveries.
1 - Module 44 - Power steering. Code (19249)
2 - Adaptation
3 - Select - switching driving profile
Choices :
A - Gradual, controlled by time
B - Directly controlled threshold value

Do a search for pedal box on this forum. You will find loads of information. I have the DTUK Pedal Box+, which is pretty much plug'n'play. It gets rid of the throttle pedal lag.
