Who knew? Reversing camera wash.

Featured Replies

After owning my Karoq 6 months I had another surprise !
thereversing camera has a washer jet if you use the wiper whilst in reverse gear....

Like the headlights after a 'wash' the camera still needs a wipe over.

The VW system is better inasmuch as the camera has its own shed and only come out when needed.

Better than the Yeti when the lens often got obscured with mud!

Did you have a Yeti previously? I never knew you did

Yes 3. 2010, 2014 & 2017. Only the last one had a rear camera as an option though. Wouldn’t consider another car without that again.

Actually the camera gets a wash whenever you wash the rear screen. You only spot it when in reverse as the camera shows it.

BTW, took me about 6 months of ownership to spot it had one too!
