Hello, i ordered a Kamiq with the standard headlights. The daytime running lights, and the low beams are LED. But i don’t know if the high beams are actually LED or just halogen bulbs. Is there someone with the standard illumination package in its kamiq to let me know?

Hi and welcome to the site.

 

If you look at Škoda cars uk site the base Kamiq comes with basic led headlights. That means they do not bend as the AFS ones do.

So basically, all the kamiq lights (despite the blinkers) are LED, even high beams and cornering lights?? 

Sorry but I only looked as far as the headlights bit.

Have the "basic" ones on my SEL. They are fine. Last car was an Octavia with full led headlights and I cannot see any difference.

I have the SE L and all the front lights, excepe the indicators, are LED.  Can't understand why the indicators are not LED seems daft.  Even a basic non scrolling LED indicator would have been more fitting.  Having had Halogen bulbs in every car they are very bright and white though.

Totally agree with you, its a shame that the blinkers are not LED. I suppous that is not that hard nor expensive to make the drl blink orange instead of white.

My thoughts exactly.  It's just weird that all the external lights are led apart from 2 yellow indicator bulbs.  Makes no sense.  And, having tried to change them for Silver bulbs, its a major job to get into them.  Not really sure how to tbh.  Don't want to damage anything.

Would be awesome if somebody makes a tutorial of how to install those bulbs. Definetelly looks much more modern
