Hi all from Sydney Australia.

 

I recently bought a MY15.5 Octavia RS 162 (they don't mention the 'V' here...) estate (Combi/Wagon... i'm Scottish so it's an 'estate'). I bought it the day before we went into a mandatory lock down in my part of the city and the dealership where the car is in another part so I can't collect it for now :( .

 

I've owned a Mk5 GTI for the last 6 years which I'm now trying to sell (...damn lock-down not helping that either!!) but it was a manual and my wife is expecting our first so I decided to upgrade to something a bit bigger, safer and with an Auto box for her.

 

Really looking forward to getting my new car..

I picked up my car this week, really liking it, first time I've owned an Automatic before so it'll take a bit of getting used to, i keep grabbing the gear leaver to change gear. I think i'll need to replace the interior lights through as I swapped out the interior lights for LED ones and it made a world of difference, especially in the boot. Otherwise, very happy with it!!
