Shock absorber

Featured Replies

Hi all. It's time for shock absorber change. What shock absorbers do you use? I'm more close to Bilstein B4 black.

The best shock absorbers are the ones you can afford.

I used kyb excel-g which are soft and comfy, generally for an old car giving it hard shocks will only cause rattles and fatigue to all parts.
with that said and depending on your taste feel free to buy the ones that fit your driving style.
But stay away from crap brands such as delphi or stark cause your life is on the line.
Also be sure to change the top mounts on both front and rear shocks and use quality ones (Monroe,TRW,Optimal,MOOG) and so on

As for the Bilstein Black we say here ''are for taxi drivers" because they are for normal use in city.

Then Sachs with Kilen coils which are a little bit better.

Better options are the Kayaba and Monroe with Apex or MAD coils.

If you want some Sport you can go to Koni Orange and Yellow with Eibach coils but keep in mind that the Yellow are stiff.
