I am afraid older versions of VCDS do not work. You need it updated to a software not more than a year old. But worth to try anyway.

I`ve seen DAB related bytes somehere in radio/navigation module (cannot remember, but easy to find).

 

I activated personalisation according to this:

Security access -> 31347
Adaptation
Submenu - Personalisierung
- Personalisierung_Profilfunkion -> profiles_active (Default profiles_inactive)

I'm just in contact with rosstech to get an upgrade on my old cable (tradein). I'm sure it will take a few weeks to come, but should be worth it :-)

Another strange one that I've noticed.

 

the internal lights don't come on when you unlock or even open the doors. Might be something to do with the massive sunroof? There is a button on the dash to turn the rears ones on, but that's it.

Couldn't find anything in the settings/car config...

You should have 4 buttons just around the roof operating knob. I have LHD car and left back button activates/deactivates interior lights with doors open.

Button on the dash?

 

There are four buttons on the overhead console. The front two switch on/off the front reading lights. You need to press the switch behind that, the one with the open door symbol.

Page 55 from your owners manual:

 

All of which now makes me wonder about DAB. Have you read the owners manual? Page 136 talks about selecting radio stations on the Columbus headunit. If you follow those instuctions are you saying you still don't see DAB ?

Page 136 in my manual (Owner's Manual Skoda Kodiaq) is about ACC. Nothing in there at all about DAB.

 

Under the index, it has Radio, then is says 'see digital version of the manual!'

You mean personalising? Personalising is not connected to headunit anyhow, but yes, it definitely works for pre 2021 Kodiaq.

Beware though, these MY21 Kodiaqs seem to be locked down a lot more when it comes to coding. Stuff like enabling Light Assist (auto high beams) cannot be coded via VCDS anymore.

I thought I'd just close this one off.

 

I've actually gotten through to a decent person at my dealer who has been working with Skoda Australia.
