License plate bulbs can be coded to accept LED using VCDS (have done it to my Superb and Yeti). Not sure on the rest. Certainly internal lights shouldn't bring up a warning.

You'll need VCDS
Why change licence plate bulbs to LED?
Why not fit good Halogen bulbs?

They look better, but obviously we all have our preferences.

We have genuine VAG units (not just the bulb, but the whole assemblies) fitted to ours, they look great and have decent dispersion.  Aftermarket bulbs can look a bit naff... just overly bright white dots.

I noticed the recent Carista Beta now has the ability to code number plate lights as LED.

Yet to try it though.

Would that Beta also have the ability to code a battery change?

Apparently so.

A friend replaced the original battery on his 2014 SEAT Alhambra 2.0 TDi a few weeks back and I noticed the Carista Beta now has the option to code a new battery on VAG cars.

We sought advice from a mechanic though and was told it was not necessary to code the battery, assuming the replacement was the same capacity / specification??

It's a few weeks since the battery change and all seems well.
