Has Anyone Fitted Hel Preformance Brake Pipes?

Featured Replies

Has anyone fitted hel preformance stainless steel brake hoses (part:SKO-4-010)

I have no doubt they will fit, but just wondering if they still have the rubber stopper halfway down that keeps the pipe away from the car body.

I'm not really botherd about any preformance gain, I just like the lifetime warrenty aspect.

You can fit a rubber donut in any case. But it will make brake feel good very good.

Ok, I did not know you could get them seperate, just presumed that it was molded to the hose in the manufacture process.

Well it is... In rubber lines

But that doesnt stop you from fitting one after the fact on steel lines just use silicone spray and slide the thing on

Me, i have a Goodridge made kit and i am very happy with it.

Especially on mountain route after some time (when your brakes are hot) you will feel the difference compared with the stock hoses.

Plus you have an extra protection from the steel blendage.

So no they don't come with the rubber spacer.

I eventually got these from wg performance, (they're the same spec as the hel ones), and added the donut myself.

Here they are fitted. Well the fronts I haven't done the rears yet.

I will say I can't feel any difference in braking feeling or performance, but as I originally said this wasn't my main concern.

Yes im eager to know how it feels

In my opinion they do not feel any different, but I am just driving casually around town, and not in a sports fashion.
