2003 Skoda Octavia Ambiente 1.6 petrol engine, automatic. When I turn the ignition key fuel pump primes but car does not crank or make any sound

Is your battery ok? She may have the power to prime the pump but not enough power to move the starter.  A friend's Golf Mk V did the same and it was his battery flat.

Battery is good, a few months old. Will try another one. Also changed ignition switch, Positive cable, all relays

Sticky starter motor?

Auto gear box switch? Car thinks it's in gear?

 

Worth checking the earth strap and battery connections.
